Since the Brighton Club is overflowing with a waiting list, a new club is being formed called Presqu'ile.  Their steering committee recently reported in the Brighton Newsletter:

Things are progressing well with the formation of the new PROBUS Club of Presqu’ile in Brighton. At our interest meeting on June 18th there were over 50 people who signed up to become members, many of whom paid their initiation fee and annual dues. We were very pleased with the overwhelming response. We were asked who members of the Steering Committee are. We are Jean Finkle, Jim Kovacs, Sandy Fawcett Kovacs, Carm Riel, Liz Riel and Don Whalen. We have received much support and encouragement from Lynda Van Dusen and Bernie Rosebush, Past Presidents of the Brighton PROBUS Club.

A second interest meeting will be held Wednesday, July 16th at 10:00am at St. Paul’s Anglican Church Hall for those who could not attend in June and to begin to plan for the future.
