Four hundred members of the Clubs of Ontario District 1, West, were at the 2019 Spring Escape on April 30th at the Trenton Air Force Ted BarrisMuseum. What a great venue! In between everything else, you could go on a tour of the Museum conducted by Harry Nash or just stroll around and view all the very interesting exhibits.

Afer a three course meal served to our tables, we were then treated to a talk by Ted Barris (picture at right) about the Canadian participation in the morale boostng Dam Busters raid into the heart of Nazi Germany. Ted was certainly an excellent speaker - and very animated. He did not use a dais but instead used a wireless lapel microphone and walked around the room.
